my friend dave bruce makes the best mix cds. bless his heart. when he gets new music that he knows i’ll dig he doesn’t hesitate to pass it on. this time, our other friend tony made two amazing mix cds and this song was track one on cd one. I LOVE IT!!!! hope you do too.
Foreign Exchange: House of Cards Video

my boyfriend has been a Little Brother fan since we first began dating (6 years ago). we’ve seen them about 5 times live and loved every moment of every show.
when Phonte of Little Brother announched that he was connecting with Nicolay on a project called Foreign Exchange, we were both STOKED!!!
for me, Foreign Exchange is a perfect example of what happens when two people who truly love music come together. it is apparent in their music that they not only have a love for music but a respect for it as well.
when i heard that the video for House of Cards was out, i flipped because it has truly become one of my favorite songs on the album. when i first saw the video, it blew me away. i loved the cinematic feel of it and it was nice to finally put a face to the name Muhsinah.
i hope you enjoy it as much as i do…

as if we are not only anxiously awaiting the film ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, now we have more of a reason to love it. it has recently been announced that Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be releasing the the films soundtrack with help from her YYY bandmates, members or Queens of the Stone Age and Raconteurs.
