A Little Encouragement

There aren’t too many things about feeling down, but if I had to choose the best thing about feeling down it would be knowing that I am not the only one that is down. Therefore, we all need a little encouragement. I have a strong hope and faith in my Christian faith. I have hope in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and am therefore patient and hopeful!
Dream Big! Laugh Loud! Have Hope! Have Heart! <<< that alone put a smile on my face

LITTLE by Darin Michelle has entered into a business grant pool by Chase (Mission: Small Business) to be on of 12 Small Businesses granted $250,000…that’s right y’all $250,000! This last year for LBDM has been all about branding and growing. This grant would help LBDM expand into the Streetwear Clothing & Art Production Brand it dreams to be!

I love being a girl! Even more, I love finding other girls that are just…them!!! Effortlessly amazing. This is something I’ve blogged about often. Sometimes, truly being who you are can be overwhelming for you and others, but how can we really thrive if we aren’t catering to our own unique sense of style and being. I celebrate the women who don’t conform to the norms of what is beauty and are beauty in their own!

Men’s Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection
So, I’ve realized over the years, that a lot of the time I would much rather shop in the Mens section than the Womens section. I stole my brothers clothes when I was younger and I steal my husbands clothing now. There is something about the tailoring of Mens clothing that I LOVE!!!!
I not only love the Men’s Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection by McQueen, but I love the models that were chose! All that hair!!! These are just a few of my favs!

I have written many times before about my personal influences and as I grow my brand and work it into what it’s truly meant to be, those influences stand out more and more; silently pushing me to keep on keepin’ on!!!
Johnny Cupcakes gave me the courage and push to get in the industry. The Hundreds taught me the difference between a brand and a lifestyle. MadeMe Clothing and Married to the Mob showed me that girls can indeed do it right, if not better, but Benny Gold is my ultimate influence. A man who truly has a hand in his business through and through; who sketches, adds personal touches and cares for his customers and family and shows it in every post and photo.
My birthday was last weekend and my husband had one last bday present in store for me. It showed up today!!!!!
After receiving these wonderful gifts, there were two more things that had to be done! The stickering of the stickers!!
