A3C x LBDM Part 1

If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you know that I was in full social media mode at A3C this past weekend. I can’t even form proper sentences describing what an amazing time I had down there. Thank you to everyone at A3C for having me, thank you to all the A3C Style vendors so being so awesome and thanks to my husband for being the most awesome person and helping me set up, break down, reminding me to eat and watching the booth so I could go see a few shows.
We started with RZA and ended with Illmind!! Jeez!!!!!

What happens when creative people meet and get awesome…more awesome than they actually are? In this instance, t-shirts happened. My husband and I are huge supporters of the Jamla Movement and all that 9th Wonder has to offer off his label It’s a Wonderful World Music Group. Not only are they ALL talented, they are down to earth and have opened up their creative places to us. LBDM was more that happy to design for two of IWW’s artists; Actual Proof and Rapsody. This will hopefully be a creative relationship that reconnects.
Oh by the by…Sean Boog (of The Away Team) printed the tees!!! These guys are ridiculously full of talents! SUPPORT YOUR INDIE ARTISTS!!!

my fiancee and i aren’t always on the same page when it comes to music. we can agree on a couple genres; house/soul and hip-hop. over the 6 years we’ve been together he has introduced me to some groups and people i will always love; little brother and the entire justus league, black milk, a more indepth intro to murs, etc. we agree on all the classics; blackstar, gang starr, atcq, de la, camp lo, etc and every now and then he introduces me to a group or song that i fall in love with.
in this case, its Actual Proof from North Carolina. i would type up a bunch of hype, but i’ll let this song do all the explaining…
