Little Shop Launch Party: Ice Cream Social

good afternoon. if you keep up with my blogs you know that i’ve been doing a lot of the little shop launch party. we had it last night and it was AMAZING!! the turn out was great; tons of people i haven’t seen if a long time, a lot of love and of course, ice cream (for free) 
i wasn’t able to take a lot of pics because i was selling merch all night, but i do have a few and will have more when my friends ante up their photos.
thank you for all your love and support and if you came, i hope you had as much fun as i did. cause Lord knows, i did…

for me, the best way to do something well is to do the necessary reseach on that something to make sure the end product stays true to its roots.
i am currently working on my ICE CREAM SOCIAL Summer collection and event (yup…event). to prepare, i’ve been doing some research on ice cream. it’s been a lot of fun. here’s some of the fun facts i found this evening:
- In 1700 Governor Bladen of Maryland served ice cream to his guests.
- The first ice cream parlor in America opened in New York City in 1776.
- Dolly Madison created a sensation when she served ice cream as a dessert in the White House at the second inaugural ball in 1812.
- 80 percent of the world’s Vanilla Bean used for ice cream is grown in Madagascar.
