No Doubt Keeps Getting More Awesome!

A 12 year old me was sitting in my Grandmothers living room watching TV when I saw the ‘Just a Girl’ video by No Doubt for the first time. I decided then and there that I wanted to be as bada$$ as Gwen Stefani!
Tragic Kingdom was among the first few CDs I ever bought (along with Deee-lite and Red Hot Chilli Peppers). The sound of No Doubt and the style of Gwen helped to form the person I am today. That sounds corny, right? It may sound a little corny, but it’s very true! From 12, on, I had the courage to be a little more confident and a little more free to be myself.
I’ve kept up with No Doubt since ‘Just a Girl’, and have had my heart invested in a piece of every project they’ve ever put out.
I am happy to be among a generation of music where the bands that were rockin’ back then are rockin’ now and in some cases are even better!!!

I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NEW NO DOUBT RECORD COMES OUT IN SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!!! This video illustrates exactly why I love No Doubt. They are classic. They have never changed; only grow.
I love that Gwens’ Harajuku Girls make an appearance in the video. It’s a true showing of how much the group respect one another and their personal ventures. Watch the video and love it!
The Brodys, Gwens, & Shirleys….

i was disappointed watching a few music videos the other day. what happened to the brodys…the gwens…the shirleys of the music scene. what ever happened to getting on stage and being yourself and not trying to hard to seem tough or in the “scene” what happened to groups who just were who they were?
the distillers, no doubt, garbage…i miss you all. i miss your kick @ss lead singers, your amazing energy even when you were out of energy and the fact that all three of you made me want to join a band.
